Hey guys, it’s John Wheeler today I'm going to tell you all about how you can make money online. Making money online has been a hot topic for a while now and everyone wants a piece of the action. Well, I'm here to spill the beans and give you the three most important factors for kickstarting and skyrocketing your online business. And guess what? I'm giving it to you for free! Yeah, that's right, no charge!

Now, before we dive in, let me tell you, this isn’t going to be another get rich quick scheme, this is going to take some time and hard work. I've got a whole YouTube course dedicated to this stuff, but hey, I'll give you the essentials right here. Trust me, my course spans a whopping eight weeks, so trying to fit it all here would turn this into the world's longest blog post. Ain't nobody got time for that! But I'm going to lay out the crucial aspects. So, let's get this show on the road!

Product

Alright let's talk about the first crucial factor for your online business: the product. This is where it all starts. You must have something worth selling, something that people actually want. There's no use in spending money developing and advertising a product that no one cares about.

Now, here's the deal: you don’t always have to come up with a new idea. You can find existing products that already have a demand in the market. Look for things that people are already buying and enjoying. But don't just settle for what's out there. Be the one to take it up a notch. Identify any problems people may have with those products and create an enhanced version. Put your own spin on it, make it better, and boom! You've got yourself a winner.

Audience

Once you've got your killer product, it's time to think about your target audience. Who are you selling to? Are you going broad or niche? Let me break it down for you. Going broad means appealing to a wide market. Take weight loss, for example. Lots of people want to shed those extra pounds, right? But if you want to narrow it down, you can focus on a specific niche. Like new moms who want to lose that post-pregnancy weight in a safe and manageable way. By getting specific, you can tailor your marketing strategies to reach the right buyers.

But here's the thing about choosing your target audience. It affects how you price your product. Mass-market products usually have lower price points, usually up to $499. But if you're going niche, you can charge more, even up to $2000. See, with broad audience products, you have to spend more on your advertising to reach a larger crowd. But with a niche product, you're targeting a smaller, more interested audience, so advertising costs can be lower, and their interest levels might just be higher.

So, to sum it up, find a product with demand and know who you're selling it to. Got that? Great! Now, let's move on to the next important piece of the puzzle: your sales funnel.

Funnel

This bad boy is going to be your best friend when it comes to generating leads and guiding potential customers through the buying process. So, pay close attention, cause I'm about to break it down for you.

Now, the specific elements of your funnel may vary, but what matters most is creating a funnel that builds rapport, trust, and showcases the value of your product. And guess what? There are two parts of the funnel that you absolutely can't afford to mess up: the opt-in page and the sales page. As they are the pages where you get the leads information and talk to them about your product.

But first, let's talk about the landing page. This is where visitors land and make the decision to provide their contact information. This page needs to have some killer copy that grabs their attention and entices them to take action. You can offer free training, a consultation, or an eBook as an incentive for them to opt in. But here's the trick: when they reach that opt-in page, you have got to make it streamlined and free from distractions. I don't want to see any fancy bells and whistles here. Just focus on the opt-in form and get those email addresses. Keep it simple!

Now, onto the sales page. This is where the magic happens. The contents of your sales page will vary depending on what you want to achieve. If you want visitors to make an immediate purchase, a longer-form sales page might be the way to go. Pack it with persuasive copy, testimonials, and all the juicy details about how your products helps them. But if your product is pricier and requires booking a call, a shorter page with a webinar might be more effective. Give them a taste of who you are and what you're offering and get them hooked.

Remember, the key here is to build trust, showcase the value of your product, and guide your potential customers towards making a purchase. Your sales funnel is where the magic happens, so make it count.

Advertisements

Alright, we've covered the product and the funnel. Now, it's time for the grand finale: the third crucial factor for starting and scaling your business online: Ads

  1. Leveraging Organic Traffic:

If you've got a killer product and a well-optimized funnel, you may not need to jump into paid ads right away. One option is to harness the power of organic traffic. Promote your funnel in relevant groups, share it on social media, and encourage your friends to spread the word. This approach can generate interest, but keep in mind that it takes time to build momentum, and the leads may not always be of the highest quality. Nevertheless, it's a solid starting point to test the waters.

  1. The Benefits of Paid Advertising:

To maximize your chances of success and reach a targeted audience, investing in paid ads is a smart move. Allocate a portion of your budget to advertising and attract genuinely interested individuals who are more likely to convert into customers. The key here is to make the most of your resources. Let's break it down further:

a) Start Small and Test the Waters:

Don't let the fear of spending money on ads hold you back. You don't need to empty your bank account to see results. Even my agency, which handles multimillion-dollar advertising budgets for big brands, often starts with a humble investment of just $10 per day on platforms like Google or YouTube. This initial test phase allows you to gauge the effectiveness of your ad without risking a substantial financial commitment. Remember, you don't need a massive budget to see some returns.

b) Scale Slowly and Strategically:

Once you've identified an ad that truly resonates with your audience and delivers promising results, it's time to scale up your efforts. But hey, take it slow! Gradually increase your ad spend while carefully monitoring the impact on your business. There's no need to rush into massive investments. Instead, focus on steady and sustainable growth.

c) Choose Your Platforms Wisely:

While there are plenty of advertising platforms out there, it's important to choose wisely and prioritize your efforts strategically. YouTube, with its billions of hours of daily video consumption, remains a true powerhouse for advertising. Leveraging such a massive audience can yield remarkable results. Of course, feel free to explore other platforms as well, but if you're operating on a limited budget, it's generally best to concentrate your resources on a single platform that offers vast reach and engagement.

Advertising your online business is a crucial step toward success. By implementing a thoughtful and measured approach to paid advertising, you can effectively reach your target audience and generate the desired returns. Remember, even modest investments can yield significant results. So go ahead, make your presence known, and watch your business thrive!
