Importance of a good product

So, before I tell you all these amazing strategies to developing a killer product let me just explain why you need to have a marketable product. If you understand the reasoning then this will ensure that you never, ever go to market with a bad product, at least not intentionally. As I said earlier, the product is all that matters, do you understand that? I just can't tell you how many people do not get it and, I'm not saying you necessarily, but you always see internet marketers and they sell their products, they sell their courses, they sell everything, they really don’t understand. It's not the ads. It's not the special secret sauce that we have to run the ads. The product is what sets up the rest of your business. If you do not have a good product, you have nothing and you have no way to build a good business, you have no way to have good ads. So, without a good product, you have NOTHING. No back-end, no upsell, no sales continuity because people don't like your product. It sucks. Your cancellations are going to be through the roof. Your refunds are going to be through the roof. If your product sucks, you will never see another penny from your customers again, and you will get no referrals. So, when we talked about product, and when you're thinking about what product you should have, whether it's a hard product or coaching or service or a SAS product, it doesn't matter, just make sure that it is a good product. The product is where your business lives and dies. Look, what you need is a good ad. And a good ad leads you to a good product. A good product leads you to a good experience which leads you to good results and that leads to good retention, good up-sell, and a good lifetime value for the customer. That means they are going to keep buying from you. They're going to keep spending with you. But you cannot buy enough ads to make a bad product profitable, no matter how good your ads are, no matter how much secret sauce I give you. If you have a bad product, it will never be profitable, and you'll never have all those back-end things. You'll never have this great R.O.I.; in fact, you really have nothing. If you don't have a fantastic product, you don't have a long-term business, then you start spending too much money on everything. You spend too much money on your ads. You spend too much money on software programs attempting to make your product look better. Then you spend too much money redesigning your landing page and your funnel. You waste to much time on complaints and unhappy customers, too much time with refunds, and too much time with cancellations. It won't work. Your product must be fantastic. If it's not, it will not work. Look, if you get no referral traffic, if you get no organic growth, and if nobody talks about your programs, your dead in the water. So, you must have a good product. You must have a fantastic product. And if you have a fantastic product, you going to make a bucket load of money. Okay, so I hope that this got across the reason why having a good product is so important.
